Scent of a woman
It was a very good and exciting film, one of the best we’ve seen on the “video day”. It was about a young gentleman, whose parents lived in Oregon but he started his studies in Baird school what was one of the best in the state.
He hasn’t got so much money so he worked at a lot of company and he earned enough money to go home on holiday. In the beginning he accepted a job, what was to take care about a blind vet, who was a colonel in the army (acted by Al Pacino). He was little bit outspoken, but very well-mannered people who wanted to celebrate his last days of life. They went to New York with Charlie (the main character). But Charlie knew nothing about that journey. They had a great time there, but Charlie was in a trouble because there was a little incident in his school. His classmates wrecked their director’s car anyway who was an asshole and deserved it. But the trouble was that dear Charlie saw that guys were preparing for their dirty joke. But Charlie was in New York with his strange new friend. They wasted a lot of money in the most expensive restaurants, they drove a Ferrari (colonel too who was blind). My favourite part was the flying scene, when Colonel told Charlie what is the best thing in the World. As time went by they got on well each other, and when they got back Colonel was at Charlie’s discussion in the school. He told his own opinion about this school (it’s a shit), but in the end Charlie won his honour back, and his friend who told everything was a looser. The whole school was celebrating Charlie while his friend won nothing with his snitcher behaviour.
I enjoyed the film very much, but Godfather would be better I think. It was so exciting, and really enjoyable. I hope this is enough.
